:iconexclamationpointplz:NON-MEMBERS CAN ALSO SUBMIT

:iconexclamationpointplz:ATTENTION: YOU CAN ONLY GET A DD EVERY 6 MONTHS!

:bulletyellow::bulletyellow:What is DD-Factory?:bulletyellow::bulletyellow:
DD-Factory is a group that suggests Daily Deviations.
To find out about Daily Deviations (short DDs) read this 2 FAQs
FAQ #61: What is a Daily Deviation?
FAQ #18: Who selects Daily Deviations and how are they chosen?

:bulletpink::bulletpink:How does the group work?:bulletpink::bulletpink:
1. You submit one of your deviations you think is worth to be a DD (or one of someone else deviations) to the group.

2. A team member reviews the deviation and accepts it if he/she agrees with you or declines it if he/she does not agree with you.

3. If your submission was accepted it will be displayed in our gallery and the contributor who accepted your submission will suggest it as a DD.

4. Please always keep in mind: We are not the ones choosing and awarding Daily Deviations, we only suggest them to the proper DA staff members.

:bulletyellow::bulletyellow:Are there any rules?:bulletyellow::bulletyellow:
Yes there are some simple rules to follow:

1. One submission per deviant per month.

2. Submissions that show violence against children, racism, ... or go against DA-Rules in any way will be declined.

3. NO LITERATURE SUBMISSIONS! (due to lack of a skilled contributor)

4. If your submission is accepted it's not a guarantee that your submission will be a Daily Deviation. We can only suggest, not decide.

5. Don't be mad at us if your submission was declined. Remember: The personal opinion of the team member counts - so it's a matter of taste. WE GIVE FEEDBACK IF YOU ASK US, BUT ONLY IF YOU USE THE OFFICIAL WAY OF GROUP CORRESPONDENCE! (tutorial can be found above)

:bulletpink::bulletpink:Is there anything else I should know?:bulletpink::bulletpink:
1. You don't have to me a member to submit to this group. Everyone can submit. But if you wanna be informed about news, contests, ... of our group join us or watch us.

2. If you don't follow our rules or insult a team member we will ban you from this group.

3. You can only get a DD every 6 months, so if you recently got a DD you will not be able to get a DD for 6 months.

4. You should always submit to the correct DA folder because that helps us to suggest your work and it helps admins to feature your work.

I saw that you currently aren't accepting literature because you don't have any skilled contributors.  Exactly what would constitute as a skilled contributor?  I know of a handful of talented writers (fanfics, original stories, poetry, across the board), some of whom have had DDs before.  Are you currently looking for someone to judge literature or open to the idea of having a contributor to do so?  If so I would be more than happy to help you find one.

Yes, indeed we are still looking for a contributor who could help judge literature submissions. Unfortunately in the past we had a hard time finding contributors at all, even a harder time finding a contributor who is active in the field of literature. We would need a person that has experience with literature/writing as well as a little bit of experience as a member of DeviantArt, additionally it would of course also be nice if that person already had experience in the field of suggesting DDs but that is not a must. Also, it would be important that the person has a little bit of spare time which they could spend on voting on literature submissions as well as suggesting literature pieces. If you know somebody who would fit that profile and would be willing to help out it would be a great help if you could send them our way :)

May I ask, why did you declined this? -->…

As we mention in our rules section, you have to use group correspondence to get feedback on your deviation. If you don't know how it works, please feel free to read this tutorial -->…

Okay. Thank you. I did comment.

To be honest with you and be nice to you. That's a bit silly to ask them to do this like you asked me to read a tutorial. You could simple comment and tell them why you declined the submission after you declined. They can read the comment of why submission got declined. So they wouldn't have to go to this page and ask why and you won't have to tell them to read a tutorial. Some don't have a time do this. Tell them why in the comment is easy and save the time. :)

First of all, some deviants prefer that not everybody sees their conversation, also the official group correspondence provides a space where contributors can talk to each other without the member seeing it, which can be quite helpful sometimes.
Second, many people don't post a link to their deviation, which would mean we would have to go to our gallery and search for these deviations or reply to them and ask them to post a link which would lead to endless conversation threads on the main page.
Additionally, I would like to make you aware that most big groups here on DA handle it this way because it keeps things more structured.
I'm sorry, if you feel that this takes too much of your time but please understand that we are also doing this to save us some time because we all have real lives too which take a lot of our daily time.
I hope you can understand our reasons for doing it this way a little bit better now :)
